This annual campaign of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation spotlights the crisis of uninsured Americans and aims at its solution with consciousness-raising events around the country. The pitiful collection of Illinois activities scheduled so far highlights how far this state has to go.One important event takes place in Springfield on March 24, Legislative Advocacy Day in support of House Bill 311, The Health Care for All Illinois Act. Go if you can. If not, contact your state representatives.
We can't wait for a federal solution — it will be too little and too late.
